Unlimited Data eSIM in the UK for Two Weeks: What Actually Exists

Short answer: No eSIM in our catalog gives unlimited data in the UK for 14 days. The only unlimited plans that cover the UK are EUconnect, at 3 to 10 days, and they slow down after 3 GB a day. For two weeks of heavy use, buy Europe 30 GB for 15 days at $25.99.

Prices checked on 22 October 2026. The usage column is the 14-day row of our trip data calculator: 4–7 GB light, 8–14 GB moderate, 18–28 GB heavy. Every plan in the table covers the UK and allows hotspot use.

People search for “unlimited” because they do not want to count gigabytes on a trip. In the UK that wish runs into the catalog: the unlimited plans stop at 10 days, and the plan that comes closest to having no limit is a fixed 999 GB allowance. This guide shows what we sell under each of those labels, what the fine print says, and which one to buy for a fortnight. Every UK-only plan is on our United Kingdom plans page.

No unlimited eSIM in our catalog covers the UK for a full two weeks, so the choice is a large fixed plan or two shorter unlimited ones.

Is there an unlimited data eSIM for the UK?

Yes, but not for two weeks. On 22 October 2026 our catalog had 43 plans marked unlimited, in 13 plan families. Only one family covers the UK: EUconnect, supplied by Airalo, in four lengths.

PlanValidityPrice
EUconnect Unlimited 3 Days3 days$9.49
EUconnect Unlimited 5 Days5 days$12.99
EUconnect Unlimited 7 Days7 days$15.99
EUconnect Unlimited 10 Days10 days$20.99

The longest is 10 days. None of the 43 unlimited plans in the whole catalog runs longer than 15 days, and the 15-day ones (Europe Premium and three single-country Premium families) do not include the UK.

What the EUconnect product pages say, word for word where it matters:

  • Speed: “3GB/day at 20Mbps. 1Mbps afterwards.” The data never runs out, but after 3 GB in a day the speed drops to 1 Mbps until the next day.
  • Network label: 4G/LTE. These plans are not labelled 5G.
  • Hotspot: allowed.
  • Top-up: not available. You cannot add days to an EUconnect eSIM.
  • Phone number: none. It is a data-only eSIM.
  • Activation: validity starts on first data use. The eSIM expires if it is not activated within 2 months of purchase.
  • Coverage: 28 countries, the 27 EU members plus the United Kingdom. The plan text also says Switzerland is not included.

At 1 Mbps, maps, messages and email still work. Video calls and streaming struggle. Our guide to what “unlimited” means on a travel eSIM explains daily caps and slowdowns across all the unlimited plans we sell.

Why doesn’t Europe Premium Unlimited cover the UK?

Europe Premium Unlimited is the other unlimited plan for Europe, and it is the one most likely to catch out a UK traveller. Its product page says: “United Kingdom coverage is not included in this package.” It lists 35 places, Vatican City among them, including Ireland, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Turkey, but not the UK.

PlanValidityFull-speed dataAfter thatPrice
Europe Premium Unlimited 5 Days5 days30 GB2 Mbps$25.99
Europe Premium Unlimited 10 Days10 days60 GB2 Mbps$38.99
Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days15 days90 GB2 Mbps$51.99

The 15-day plan would be the right shape for a two-week trip if the UK were on the list. It is not, so if London, Edinburgh or Manchester is any part of your route, skip this family. It works for a continental trip that passes through no UK stop.

How do you cover 14 days with an unlimited plan?

Buy two EUconnect plans. There is no way to stretch one, because EUconnect has no top-up, and each order on our site holds one eSIM. So it is two separate orders, two QR codes and two eSIMs on your phone.

CombinationDays coveredTotal price
7 days + 7 days14$31.98
10 days + 5 days15$33.98
10 days + 3 days13$30.48

The 7 + 7 pair is the only combination that lands on exactly 14 days. The 10 + 3 pair is cheaper but leaves you a day short.

A few things follow from the plan text. Each eSIM starts its validity on its own first data use, so the second one waits until you switch to it. Both must be activated within 2 months of purchase. And the 3 GB daily allowance applies every day, so over 14 days you get at most 42 GB at full speed, 3 GB a day. That is our arithmetic from the daily limit, not a separate figure on the product page.

For two weeks, the EUconnect pair costs $6 more than Europe 30 GB and gives more full-speed data in total. The catch is that it is spread out: a single heavy day, like a long train ride with a laptop on hotspot, still hits the 1 Mbps limit after 3 GB.

How much data do two weeks in the UK actually use?

A family in a rented flat kitchen in Edinburgh comparing data plans on the father's phone over breakfast, an open suitcase on the floor.
For two weeks of moderate use, a 15 GB Europe plan that includes the UK cost $16.99, against $26.99 for the cheapest UK-only plan that fits.

Less than most people fear. Our calculator’s 14-day row puts light use at 4–7 GB, moderate use at 8–14 GB and heavy use at 18–28 GB. Heavy here means streaming video every day or using the phone as a hotspot for work.

Here is the cheapest plan that covers the UK for at least 14 days at each level, checked on 22 October 2026:

Two-week useData neededCheapest UK-covering planPriceCheapest UK-only planPrice
Light4–7 GBEurope 7 GB (NextLink) or UK and Ireland 7 GB (Sparks)$10.99UK 10 GB 200 Minutes$16.99
Moderate8–14 GBEurope 15 GB, 15 days (eSIMGo)$16.99UK 20 GB 300 Minutes$26.99
Heavy18–28 GBEurope 30 GB, 15 days (eSIMGo)$25.99UK 50 GB 450 Minutes$40.99

The UK-only column is what our United Kingdom page recommends, because that page only picks from the 8 plans that cover the UK alone. Most of those plans come with a UK phone number and minutes, which is part of why they cost more. If you only need data, a multi-country plan that includes the UK is cheaper at every level, even if you never leave the UK.

So for most two-week trips, unlimited is not needed. Unless you go well past 28 GB, a fixed plan covers you for less than two EUconnect plans.

Is UK 999 GB the same as unlimited?

A traveller with a laptop open on a British train table looking out at green fields, phone lying beside the laptop.
Hotspot work on a long train ride is the kind of heavy day where a 3 GB daily cap runs out and a no-daily-limit plan earns its price.

No, but in practice it is the closest thing. UK 999 GB is a 30-day, UK-only plan from eSIMGo with a fixed allowance of 999 GB. Its product page says: “Full data speeds – no daily limits, no throttling.” It allows hotspot, can be topped up, carries the 5G/4G/LTE label and has a UK IP address. The supplier’s text adds that 5G depends on local coverage and your phone.

PlanDataValidityPhone numberPrice
UK 999 GB999 GB30 daysNo$62.99
UK 999 GB 500 Minutes999 GB30 daysUK number, 500 minutes to UK numbers$68.99

The difference from an unlimited plan matters on paper: 999 GB is a number, and it would run out if you used that much. Over two weeks you would need about 71 GB a day to finish it. What makes it useful is the line about daily limits. Unlike EUconnect, it does not slow down after a few gigabytes on a heavy day.

It is the expensive choice. For two weeks it costs more than twice as much as Europe 30 GB. Buy it if the phone will be your home broadband for the trip: all-day hotspot for a laptop, video calls for work, or a family sharing one connection.

What about plans with “Unlimited” in the name?

Two plans that cover the UK have “Unlimited” in the title and a fixed data allowance: EU 60 GB Unlimited Calls ($51.99) and EU 120 GB Unlimited Calls ($65.99), both 30 days, supplied by Bouygues. The unlimited part is calls, not data. The product text says each “comes with French (+33) mobile number” and includes “unlimited calls and SMS within EU”, along with 60 GB or 120 GB of data.

They also differ from the other plans here in three ways the product pages list: no top-up, the IP address is in France, and validity starts when the eSIM connects to a network, not on first data use. For a UK-only data trip they are expensive. They make sense if you want a phone number for calls across the continent as well as the UK.

Which option fits which two-week trip?

  • London and a few day trips, normal use: Europe 15 GB for 15 days, $16.99. It covers the moderate range with a day to spare.
  • Streaming most evenings, or hotspot for a tablet: Europe 30 GB for 15 days, $25.99.
  • You want unlimited and your days are even: two EUconnect 7 Days plans, $15.99 each, $31.98 together. Good for steady daily use; check the 1 Mbps limit against your heaviest day.
  • You also need a UK number: UK 50 GB 450 Minutes, $40.99, valid 30 days.
  • The phone is your only internet, all day, for several people: UK 999 GB, $62.99.
  • The UK is one stop on a longer Europe trip: our NextLink Europe guide covers the 36-country plans that include the UK.

If you live in the UK and are looking for data at home rather than for a visit, our guide to eSIM plans for UK travellers covers that case. For a broader look at single-country versus Europe plans for a UK visit, see our UK travel eSIM guide.

FAQ

Is there an unlimited eSIM for the UK for 14 days?

Not in our catalog on 22 October 2026. The longest unlimited plan that covers the UK is EUconnect Unlimited 10 Days at $20.99. For 14 days you can buy two EUconnect 7 Days plans at $15.99 each, $31.98 in total, as two separate eSIMs.

Does Europe Premium Unlimited work in the UK?

No. Its product page says United Kingdom coverage is not included. It lists 35 other places, including Ireland and Switzerland.

What does EUconnect Unlimited slow down to?

The listing says 3 GB a day at 20 Mbps, then 1 Mbps for the rest of that day. The full-speed allowance starts again the next day.

Is UK 999 GB really unlimited?

It is a fixed 999 GB over 30 days. The product page says full data speeds, no daily limits and no throttling, and it allows hotspot use. For a two-week trip you are very unlikely to reach the allowance.

Can I use an unlimited UK eSIM as a hotspot?

Yes. EUconnect, UK 999 GB and the other plans in this guide allow hotspot use.

The short version

There is no two-week unlimited eSIM for the UK in our catalog. The unlimited plans that cover the UK stop at 10 days and slow down after 3 GB a day, and the 15-day unlimited Europe plan leaves the UK out. Most fortnights fit inside Europe 30 GB for $25.99. Two EUconnect 7 Days plans at $15.99 each give you an unlimited label for $31.98 together, and UK 999 GB is the one with no daily limit, at $62.99.

Before you buy, confirm

  • The plan lists the United Kingdom. Europe Premium Unlimited does not.
  • The validity covers your trip: 15 days for the Europe 15, 30 and 60 GB plans, 30 days for UK-only plans.
  • If you choose EUconnect, you are buying two separate eSIMs and your heaviest day stays near 3 GB.
  • You need a UK phone number, or data only is enough.
  • You will activate within 2 months of buying.
