Short answer: One unlimited plan in our catalog covers Italy for a full two weeks: Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days, $51.99, with 90 GB at full speed and 2 Mbps after that. Most two-week trips use far less than 90 GB. For heavy use, buy Europe 30 GB for 15 days at $25.99.
| Option for a 14-day Italy trip | Data | Validity | Price | Fits which two-week use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Europe 15 GB (eSIMGo) | 15 GB | 15 days | $16.99 | Moderate, 8–14 GB |
| Europe 30 GB (eSIMGo) | 30 GB | 15 days | $25.99 | Heavy, 18–28 GB |
| EUconnect Unlimited 7 Days (Airalo), bought twice | 3 GB a day at full speed, then 1 Mbps | 7 + 7 days | $15.99 + $15.99 = $31.98 | Steady daily use |
| Europe 60 GB (eSIMGo) | 60 GB | 15 days | $42.99 | Very heavy |
| Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days (eSIMGo) | 90 GB at full speed, then 2 Mbps | 15 days | $51.99 | No practical cap |
Prices checked on 23 October 2026. The usage column is the 14-day row of our trip data calculator: 4–7 GB light, 8–14 GB moderate, 18–28 GB heavy. Every plan in the table covers Italy and allows hotspot use.
On 23 October 2026 our catalog had no Italy-only plan on sale. Every plan that works in Italy right now is a multi-country Europe pack, and they all sit on our Europe plans page, which also shows a trip-length table for the whole region. This guide looks at the ones labelled unlimited, reads the fine print, and checks whether you need unlimited at all for a fortnight in Italy.

Is there an unlimited data eSIM for Italy that lasts two weeks?
Yes, one. On 23 October 2026 our catalog had 53 plans marked unlimited, in 15 plan families. Two families cover Italy, seven plans in total:
| Plan | Validity | Full-speed data | After that | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EUconnect Unlimited 3 Days (Airalo) | 3 days | 3 GB a day | 1 Mbps | $9.49 |
| EUconnect Unlimited 5 Days (Airalo) | 5 days | 3 GB a day | 1 Mbps | $12.99 |
| EUconnect Unlimited 7 Days (Airalo) | 7 days | 3 GB a day | 1 Mbps | $15.99 |
| EUconnect Unlimited 10 Days (Airalo) | 10 days | 3 GB a day | 1 Mbps | $20.99 |
| Europe Premium Unlimited 5 Days (eSIMGo) | 5 days | 30 GB in total | 2 Mbps | $25.99 |
| Europe Premium Unlimited 10 Days (eSIMGo) | 10 days | 60 GB in total | 2 Mbps | $38.99 |
| Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days (eSIMGo) | 15 days | 90 GB in total | 2 Mbps | $51.99 |
Only the last one runs 14 days or longer. No unlimited plan in the whole catalog runs past 15 days, so for a two-week Italy trip on a single unlimited eSIM, this is the whole list.
This is the reverse of the UK. In our guide to unlimited data in the UK for two weeks, the same Europe Premium family was the trap, because its product page says the UK is not included. Italy is on its list, so the 15-day plan works here.
What does Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days actually give you?
A fixed amount of fast data with a slow lane behind it. The product page says: “Total 90 GB at full speed, 2Mbps speed cap afterwards.” The data never runs out, but once you have used 90 GB in total, the speed drops to 2 Mbps for the rest of the 15 days.
The rest of the listing, as it reads on 23 October 2026:
- Network label: 5G/4G/LTE. The supplier’s text says 5G depends on local coverage, your phone and its settings.
- Hotspot: allowed.
- Top-up: not available. You cannot add days or data to it.
- Phone number: none. It is a data-only eSIM.
- Activation: validity starts on first data use. The eSIM expires if it is not activated within 2 months of purchase.
- IP address: Ireland. Sites you visit see an Irish address, not an Italian one.
- Coverage: 35 places: all 27 EU countries, Vatican City, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Serbia and Turkey. The United Kingdom is not included, and San Marino is not on the list.
90 GB over 15 days works out at 6 GB a day if you spread it evenly. That is our arithmetic, not a figure on the product page. It is more than double the heavy two-week range in our calculator, so most travellers never reach the 2 Mbps part. At 2 Mbps, maps, messages, email and music still work; HD video struggles.
Our guide to what “unlimited” means on a travel eSIM compares the speed rules across every unlimited plan we sell.
How does EUconnect compare for a 14-day trip?

EUconnect is the cheaper unlimited family, but it stops at 10 days, and it has no top-up. To cover two weeks you buy two plans, which on our site means two orders, two QR codes and two eSIMs on your phone.
| Combination | Days covered | Total price |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days + 7 days | 14 | $31.98 |
| 10 days + 5 days | 15 | $33.98 |
| 10 days + 3 days | 13 | $30.48 |
The EUconnect product pages say “3GB/day at 20Mbps. 1Mbps afterwards.” So over 14 days you get at most 42 GB at full speed, but never more than 3 GB on any one day. The plans are labelled 4G/LTE, allow hotspot use, and start their validity on first data use, so the second eSIM waits until you switch to it. The listing also says Switzerland is not included, which matters if your route runs from the Italian lakes into Ticino.
Against Europe Premium 15 Days, the 7 + 7 pair saves $20.01 and gives less fast data: 42 GB against 90 GB. The bigger difference is the daily ceiling. A long travel day with a laptop on hotspot can burn through 3 GB by lunch on EUconnect, and then you are at 1 Mbps until midnight. Europe Premium has no daily limit, only the 90 GB total.
How much data do two weeks in Italy actually use?

Less than an unlimited plan gives you. Our calculator’s 14-day row puts light use at 4–7 GB, moderate use at 8–14 GB and heavy use at 18–28 GB. Heavy here means video most days or the phone working as a hotspot.
Here is the cheapest plan that covers Italy for at least 14 days at each level, using the same picker as our Europe page, checked on 23 October 2026:
| Two-week use | Data needed | Cheapest plan covering Italy for 14+ days | Validity | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Light | 4–7 GB | Europe 7 GB (NextLink) | 30 days | $10.99 |
| Moderate | 8–14 GB | Europe 15 GB (eSIMGo) | 15 days | $16.99 |
| Heavy | 18–28 GB | Europe 30 GB (eSIMGo) | 15 days | $25.99 |
At the light level, France and Italy 7 GB from Sparks costs the same $10.99 for 30 days.
The heavy pick, Europe 30 GB for 15 days, costs $26 less than Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days, about half the price, and covers the top of the heavy range with 2 GB to spare. It also allows hotspot and can be topped up, which the unlimited plans cannot. If you run low on day 12, you add data to the same eSIM instead of buying a second one.
So unlimited only pays off if you expect to go well past 30 GB in two weeks. Between the two, Europe 60 GB for 15 days at $42.99 sits in the gap: $9 less than Europe Premium, 30 GB less fast data, and no 2 Mbps fallback once it is gone.
Why is every option a Europe pack?
Because that is what is on sale. On 23 October 2026 the catalog had no Italy-only plan available, so every plan that covers Italy is a multi-country plan. The Europe passes on our Europe page all include Italy.
For an Italy-only trip this costs you very little. The cheapest Europe pack at each level in the table above is priced like a single-country plan, and you get coverage if you take a day trip to Nice, Ljubljana or Munich. What changes is the small print: the IP address on Europe 15 GB and Europe 30 GB is in Ireland, and both are valid for 15 days, not 30.
If you want a pack built around Italy, the Sparks France and Italy family covers just those two countries for 30 days, with hotspot and top-up:
| Plan | Data | Validity | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| France and Italy 7 GB | 7 GB | 30 days | $10.99 |
| France and Italy 15 GB | 15 GB | 30 days | $17.99 |
| France and Italy 30 GB | 30 GB | 30 days | $30.99 |
| France and Italy 50 GB | 50 GB | 30 days | $45.99 |
They cost a little more than the 15-day Europe packs of the same size. The 30-day validity is the reason to choose them: a trip that runs 16 days or longer would outlast the Europe 15 GB and 30 GB plans.
What about plans with “Unlimited” in the name?
Two plans that cover Italy have “Unlimited” in the title and a fixed data allowance: EU 60 GB Unlimited Calls ($51.99) and EU 120 GB Unlimited Calls ($65.99), both 30 days, supplied by Bouygues. The unlimited part is calls, not data. The product text says each “comes with French (+33) mobile number” and includes “unlimited calls and SMS within EU”, along with 60 GB or 120 GB of data.
The product pages list a few other differences: no top-up, the IP address is in France, and validity starts when the eSIM connects to a network rather than on first data use. Buy one of these if you want a European phone number for calls during the trip. For data alone they cost more than the plans above.
Which option fits which two-week trip?
- Rome, Florence and Venice, normal use: Europe 15 GB for 15 days, $16.99. It covers the moderate range with a day to spare.
- Video most evenings, or hotspot for a tablet: Europe 30 GB for 15 days, $25.99.
- You want unlimited and your days are even: two EUconnect 7 Days plans, $31.98 together. Check your heaviest day against the 3 GB daily limit.
- The phone is your only internet, all day, possibly for several people: Europe Premium Unlimited 15 Days, $51.99.
- The trip runs past 15 days: France and Italy 15 GB or 30 GB, both valid for 30 days.
- Italy is one stop on a longer route: our best eSIM for Europe guide compares the multi-country plans.
